dr. Derek benjamin
Dr. D. Benjamin has been practicing Nephrology and hypertension medicine for almost 20 years. For hypertension, he uses a combination of lifestyle changes and medications to get you to your target blood pressure.
He has a robust Nephrology practice spanning from protein in the urine to predialysis care as well as end-stage renal disease including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.
He is also heavily active in renal palliative care and pre-transplant workups and post-transplant follow-up care.
Dr. Marcia benjamin
Dr. M. Benjamin is a child and adolescent psychiatry fellow with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She has been practicing in Barrie since 2004 in private practice and does consultations with all of the school boards in Simcoe County. She is a former lecturer of the University of Toronto within the department of Psychiatry. Often providing family medicine, pediatric, and psychiatry residents student opportunities for shadowing her in her practice.
She is a consultant to family physicians and pediatricians who refer clients and can provide services in both English and French.
Dr. M. Benjamin is an active member of the community providing resources, mental health information, talks. and advocacy to local schools and community groups.
