Virtual Appointment Information

A video virtual OTN link for your appointment will be sent to your email address
We will call with the PIN for you to use to access the secure link. DO NOT lose your pin or your email with the link. We cannot resend you the link.
OTN Virtual appointments are usually longer due to video lag - 2.5- 3 hours on average
Both guardians are required to be present at consultations
Assessment forms are required to be completed within 1 to 2 weeks from being picked up from our office. Then a consultation time will be given
Assessment forms need to be returned ASAP - wait time is shorter if returned promptly and thus this information will reflect real-time mental health. A $40 fee is required to pay for the copy-righted questionnaires
Determination of whether there will be follow-up appointments will be done by Dr. M. Benjamin

If OTN is requested then we require an email address for a secure link to be sent. You will click on the provided OTN link to open your virtual appointment. You will wait in the virtual waiting room until Dr. Benjamin connects
A specific logon time will be given to you by the admin for when to expect your virtual follow-up. Expect the appointment to take approximately 15-20 minutes of your time. Please be patient to wait for him to connect. Due to the finicky nature of virtual appointments delays may occur.
Ensure if there are any medication changes from other physicians that you inform Dr. D. Benjamin at follow-up
Ensure you have done your bloodwork a minimum 5-days prior to your appointment so that it can be reviewed
For those monitoring their BPs please have those available
If there have been changes to your diet, exercise, smoking amount or alcohol amount please inform Dr. D. Benjamin at the appointment
If your medical status changes drastically please call and inform the office so that we are aware

Log on 5 minutes before your appointment. Appointments run on time; there are rare mental health emergencies that may cause delays
If there is a change in your medical status, new medications/herbs/supplements that are added, or new family medical & psychiatric history - Please call and inform our office of this information
If you have any concerns that are not urgent or an emergency then please leave a detailed message on our voicemail and it will be brought to the physician’s attention within 2 business days
